🚀 Getting started

NexarisVerse is a living, browser-based Nexari MMO - a real-time overworld, catching, battles, trading and a full card game, all right here.

1. Press ▶ Play up top and log in (Discord login is just your account key - the whole game lives on this site).
2. Create your trainer - pick your look and your first Nexari.
3. You spawn in Candy Town. Walk around, talk to townsfolk, and step into the tall grass.

💡 Everything you catch, earn or open on one surface is instantly on the other.

🗺️ The open world

The web game is a real-time overworld with animated 3D Nexari roaming it, story NPCs, interiors and other players walking around live.

Townsfolk wander freely, stop to chat with each other, and some carry stories - talk to them for NexarisVerse lore, quests, or a trainer battle. Interiors (like the Poké Center) are safe zones with no wild interactions; the Nurse heals your team for coins.

🎯 Catching

Wild Nexari appear three ways in the world:

• Tall grass - walking in grass can trigger an encounter (grass-type biome in Candy Town).
• Roaming Nexari - walk into one on the map to face THAT exact Nexari.
• Fishing - water species from the river (see Fishing).

In an encounter you can throw a ball straight away, or press ⚔️ Battle to weaken it first: the lower its HP, the higher your catch odds (up to 3× at 1 HP) - but if you knock it out, it's gone. If your whole team faints, the wild Nexari flees.

Catch odds come from the species' catch rate, its rarity tier (legendaries are drastically harder), its level, and your ball (Poké → Great → Ultra; Master = guaranteed). Try the exact numbers in the Calculators.

✨ Every encounter can be a shiny. Better fishing rods boost shiny odds.

⚔️ Battles

All battles use teams of up to 3 Nexari with switch-on-faint. Damage carries between battles - heal at the Poké Center or with items.

• Wild battles - weaken and catch (see Catching).
• Trainer NPCs - some townsfolk challenge you; beat them for coins.
• PvP duels - walk up to a player, press E → Battle. 3v3, simultaneous move picks, stadium arena.
• World Boss - a server-wide raid summoned with 5 Raid Tokens (/worldboss); everyone fights it together for Battle Points.
• Battle ladders - the 8 Gyms, the Elite Four gauntlet, and the endless Battle Tower - all in the in-game Battle Ladders menu.

🧪 Potions (Full Restore / Max Revive) can only be used before a fight starts - prep your team, then commit.

🎣 Fishing

1. Buy a rod from the Fishing shop (better rods = more Fishing Tokens + shiny boost).
2. Stand at the water's edge facing the water and press F (or the 🎣 button).
3. A water Nexari strikes - battle it or throw balls like any encounter.

The river holds real swimmers only (fish, crustaceans, aquatics). Every cast pays Fishing Tokens - spend them in the Fishing Shop on rods, lures and the Sea Flute.

🔄 Trading

Two ways to trade, one shared system:

• In the world: walk up to a player, press E → Trade. Drag Nexari, cards and items into the window, set coins, and confirm.

Safety rules: both sides must confirm, and any change resets the deal - no switch scams. Trades swap everything atomically: Nexari, serialized cards, items and coins move in one transaction or not at all.

🎴 Trading cards

Every one of the 11,753 species has a card, split across four sets: Base Set (Kanto 151), National Collection, Verdant Strains (original monsters) and Nexari Frontier (10,011 Nexari).

• Packs: 9 cards - 6 Commons, 2 Uncommons and a guaranteed Rare slot that can upgrade to a ✨ Holo Rare. Holo odds scale with pack price (8% budget → 45% premium).
• Type Packs pull one type only (all 23 types, exotics included); the Mystery Mix pulls from everything; the 🌈 Mega Type Box opens into 36 packs of random types.
• Every card, pack and box is serial-numbered forever - check circulation and top owners on any card's page.

Buy in the Store or with /tcg buy - same products, same prices. Open on either surface; on the web your pulls reveal one by one. Browse the catalog and your binder.

🧬 Evolution

Nexari evolve automatically when they reach their level (battle XP or Rare Candies); some real Nexari need stones or trades - use /evolve. Nexari evolve at Lv 16 and Lv 36.

The Evolutions page lists every chain (3,700+) and has a planner that tells you exactly how many Rare Candies you need. Use Rare Candies straight from your Bag.

🪙 Items & economy

Earning coins: catching, winning battles, quests (/quest), /daily streaks, selling on /market, auctions.

Other currencies: Battle Points (tower/boss), Fishing Tokens, Event Coins, Research Points - see them in your Bag.

Key items: Nexa/Great/Ultra/Master/Premier Orbs · Full Restore (full heal) · Max Revive (revive fainted) · Rare Candy (+1 level) · rods · Raid Tokens · Evolution Stones. Buy from the in-world Shop or /shop.

🍬 Potions and revives are also usable from the web Bag (B) - pick the item, pick the Nexari.

📖 The Dex & Nexari

The dex spans all 1,025 real Nexari plus 10,728 original Nexari - including exotic types found nowhere else: Cosmic, Cyber, Light, Plasma and Sound (they have real type matchups - test them in the calculators).

The overworld shows only fully-animated 3D Nexari roaming; Nexari are found in the grass, the water and Wild Search. Browse everything in the NexaDex; your personal caught-list is My Dex.

👥 Multiplayer

Everyone on the map is live: you see other trainers move in real time, their name tags and chat bubbles. Walk up to anyone and press E to Trade or Battle them - you walk through players, never get body-blocked.

Chat with Enter - messages show above your head and in the chat log. Big moments (shiny and legendary catches) get announced to everyone.
